Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the risks of wearing improperly cleaned contact lens?

A: Wearing contact lenses that are not properly cleaned can cause tears, red eyes, and/or blurry sight. Long term effects of wearing improperly cleaned lens can be bacterial and amoebic eye infections and/or fungal keratitis, corneal ulcers, and corneal perforation.

Q: What are the benefits of using the VueSonic Contact Lens Cleaning Device?

A: It helps reduce eye risk. Remove protein deposition, calcium, lipid, and other residue that may cause eye infection and discomfort from the surfaces of your lens and maintain the lens clarity. The new Air-pressed Silicone Damping Heads fit the curve of each lens to provide better cleaning results. Bacteria resistant medical silicone prevents lens contamination and helps ensure that your contact lens is comfortable, durable, and crystal-clear.

Protects lens during the cleansing process and voids damage caused by cleaning contact lens with your hands. The VueSonic removable lens holder and damping heads are made from 35-degree medical silicone which is softer than fingertip skin and will not distort or damage lens.

Q: Is VueSonic safe to use?

A: VueSonic is safe to use. VueSonic is FDA-cleared. It has passed ISO Cytotoxicity, sensitization, ocular irritation, and system toxicity tests. It also meets the IEC 60601-1 standard for medical electrical equipment.

Q: How often should I use VueSonic Contact Lens Cleaning Device?

Contact Lens manufacture requires rubbing and soaking contact lens daily. VueSonic Contact Lens Cleaning Device replaces the manual rubbing part of this daily routine.

Q: How does VueSonic Contact Lens Cleaning Devices clean contact lens?

"Multi-frequency sonic technology" enables solution to reach the concave areas and small notches of contact lens and break bonds between various residue and lens.

"The damping motion" between the silicone damping heads and lens cushions interacts with the lens to wipe out residue that may cause eye infection and discomfort.

"3D cleaning technology" enables uniform and stable three-dimensional force distribution in the silicone lens holder (3D = rotation force, left and right force, up and down force), can rub and clean the lens 360 degree without any missed angel.

Q: Will VueSonic distort or damage contact lens during the cleaning process?

A: Clinical trials have shown that VueSonic does not in any way damage contact lenses. The equal dampen force from both the cushion and damping heads sandwich the lens. It is like rubbing a piece of paper with 2 fingers, no matter how strong the force you use, the paper won't tear.
